All the treats with a few simple tricks!!

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, even more so now that I get to share the fun with my son, Hudson!

We love to decorate the outside of our 200 year old farmhouse, complete with giant spiders webs, spiders and a friendly skeleton sitting on the porch steps!

We also love to make Halloween treats to share and also enjoy ourselves!!

Here are some easy treats you can make with just a couple of ingredients that will bring the spirit of Halloween to your home!

Witches Fingers!!

What you need :

Rod pretzel sticks

Candy melts in green

Sliced Almonds

Baking sheet lined with parchment

Heatproof container

Piping bag or ziplock bag

scissors

How to do make :

Melt green candy melts in a heatproof bowl in microwave as directed on package.

Once the candy melts have completely melted, take a pretzel and dip it into the chocolate. Use a spoon or spatula to pour the chocolate over 3/4 of the pretzel, wiggle a little to remove excess and place pretzel on parchment lined baking sheet.

Press a sliced almond onto the end to become the finger nail!

Repeat with the rest of your pretzels.

To add the wrinkles, place some more candy melts into a piping bag and melt in microwave for 10 second intervals. When completely melted cut the bottom of the bag to form a small hole.

Drizzle the chocolate over the pretzels to form wrinkles/knuckles on the fingers (as shown in photo above).

Allow to set and enjoy!!
